Code Maroon — Public Access

Texas A&M University will send emergency alerts to anyone using the Code Maroon mobile app, subscribed to text message alerts, accessing the RSS feed, or following the Twitter account TAMUCodeMaroon. Delivery to Twitter cannot be guaranteed since Texas A&M University does not manage this notification outlet.

RSS Alerts

Code Maroon's RSS feed can be accessed through your email client (Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird), various news readers (My Yahoo, Feedly and Flipboard.) or your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.).

RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from websites that interest you. Instead of having to visit the website for information, the information is sent to you as a feed.

Text Message Alerts

We encourage parents and other guests of Texas A&M University to register for text message alerts at our Code Maroon vendor’s subscriber portal.
