Law Alert — Notification Methods

To learn what you should do in case of an emergency at the Law School, visit law.tamu.edu/disclosures/emergency-information.html. In an actual emergency, Texas A&M Law will post additional emergency updates and announcements at law.tamu.edu/disclosures/emergency-information.html when they become available. Texas A&M Law will also communicate important emergency information with local television and radio outlets.

Text Message

Text messaging is a faster notification method than email, so we encourage campus members to register for text message alerts. Texas A&M Law students, faculty and staff who have a Texas A&M NetID and password can register one number to receive SMS text message alerts. You must sign up to receive text message alerts.

Texas A&M Email

Law Alert emergency messages will automatically be sent to all Texas A&M Gmail accounts ending with "@email.tamu.edu" and Texas A&M Exchange email addresses. Recent tests indicate text messaging is a faster notification method than email, so we encourage campus members to register for text message alerts and Texas A&M Exchange accounts managed by Texas A&M Technology Services.
